Dev Diary #8 – This Week’s Updates
It’s been an exciting week again with some new additions to our game build.
- Triplanar Shader: Sounds boring? It’s not! It lets you feel like if you ate magic mushrooms. It’s a projection technique that should allow us building better looking environments faster. No need to UV map stones. Freely stretch and scale them. It’s a blessing.
- Sarahul Enhancements: Sarahul got their relaxed idle, attack idle and run animations implemented and can follow the players. Also, they attack. But no attack animation yet.
- Parametric Object Destruction: That’s quite a cool one. Throw stones and they break. Makes throwing stones much more enjoyable ;)
